[Isabel Romeo en Taiko Spirit]

En breve estaré en el festival internacional Taiko Spirit impartiendo un taller sobre cómo moverse desde el «hara» o «core», nuestro centro corporal. Aplicando enseñanzas de danza y de artes marciales, experimentaremos que todo en nuestro cuerpo está conectado y que ese hara o centro es básico para un movimiento relajado y libre. Afinaremos nuestra conciencia y consciencia corporal. Y lo aprendido/ reconocido es aplicable a cómo nos movemos en la vida en general, incluyendo tocar taiko.

In short I’ll be at international festival Taiko Spirit 2018 – Japanese Drumming Festival in Switzerland, teaching the workshop «Moving from the core». Applying dance and martial arts techniques, through engaging exercises, we will experience that everything in our body is connected, and that our core is the basis for relaxed and free movement. We will focus on honing our body awareness and consciousness. Participants will be able to apply the skills learned to all movements in one’s life, including taiko.
